You will assist in the preparation, execution, and reporting of traffic and pedestrian studies, questionnaires, surveys, and Council reports including traffic calming reviews. You will investigate traffic related incidents, traffic control issues, and on-street parking regulations while performing roadway and intersection capacity analysis and traffic control warrant analysis. Additionally, you will participate in the preparation, collection, and analysis of the traffic count program, automatic traffic data collection, and special related projects.
You have a transportation engineering technology diploma, at least one year of related experience, and established MS Office and traffic engineering software utilization skills. You also have superior communication and teamwork abilities, a valid Class G drivers licence, and personal transportation.
Salary range: $44,970 - $56,211 per annum, Competition #30-791
