You will act as a liaison and coordinate clerical and administrative duties to assist neighbourhood associations, volunteers, facility partners, patrons, and staff and oversee the coordination of office procedures and facility staff at the Community Resource Centre. You will also ensure the day-to-day safe and efficient operation of the Centre and coordinate all clerical and administrative duties for it and neighbourhood associations. In addition to the qualifications outlined below, you have two years' post-secondary education in a related field along with two to four years' experience working in a senior secretarial/coordination role in a related environment.
Rate-of-pay: $21.86 - $27.33 per hour Competition N#18
For the Administrative Coordinator position, you have demonstrated organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and work independently, experience in supporting the planning and implementation of projects and programs in collaboration with volunteers/neighbourhood groups, and proven interpersonal, communication (written and oral), conflict resolution, public relations, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in the use of personal computers using Microsoft Office and other job-related applications, you have a minimum typing speed of 45 wpm, an aptitude for mathematical and financial applications including experience with bank deposits, and current Standard First Aid certification. You must be willing to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays and preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of facility management and/or a valid Class G2 driver's licence in good standing and access to a vehicle.
